I was sold, I made my appointment and headed to London.
On first impressions the clinic is easy to get to, clean, calming, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the receptionist is super friendly.
After I have had a coffee and eaten far too many chocolates, I am greeted by Doctor Lemierre . Instantly I feel in safe hands as he has an air of calmness about him and is very professional.
He sits me down with a mirror and asks me what I would like to improve.
After we have discussed the procedure, he gives me the option of a dental block and a cream that numbs the area.
Having had the procedure before I decide to go without either as I dislike how the dental block makes your lips and mouth feel after, but if you are looking for a totally pain free procedure then the dental block is the best option.
Even without the dental block its didn’t hurt too much it just made my eyes water a couple of times.
The whole procedure took just 30 mins and I left with very plump lips and the assurance that they would be fine in a couple of days.
True to his word they were and I did not have a single bruise either.
I am really happy with the result and if you were to see me, you wouldn’t actually know that I had them done. I can see a big difference though.
I no longer have deep creases at the side of my mouth which I found really aging or around the top of my lips.
Not having a really noticeable difference but just looking fresher is the way to go. Remember Less is more!
