Being a big fan of the PMD at home microdermabrasion device I jumped at the chance to test out the PMD Kiss.

How to use it
The beautifully packaged PMD kiss kit comes with the chargeable device, lip plumping serum and as well as an additional head. Instructions for usage are on the box and very easy to follow. It’s actually pretty self-explanatory in terms of use which is a big plus. Another good thing is that it’s USB-chargeable, which is very convenient.
You’re to apply the serum to clean lips before you begin, turn on (make sure it’s fully charged) and move around the lips for 3 minutes. Best to come up with a routine that works for you to keep you entertained for the duration of the session. If you use an epilator, you’ll be accustomed to the noise and sensation it creates in your hand.
The Science Bit
The PMD Kiss uses a patent-pending Pulsating Vacuum Technology to safely plump the lips in three minutes, with results lasting 3-5 hours. it’s a mini pulsating vacuum that you apply to your lips to make them fuller. A totally painless, non-invasive yet strange sensation of an experience. It’s easy which is what we all need in our busy lives.
How it works is that the device increases blood flow to the lips, leaving the lips looking plumped up. The PMD Kiss also comes with the Lip Plumping Serum, formulated with hyaluronic acid and a blend of powerful ingredients which is to be used alongside the device and to be applied after using the device. It’s a nifty little device that can be carried in your bag and used before you go. We suggest doing at home as it’s a little bit noisy.
How to get the best results
For long lasting results use the PMD Kiss daily for at least 4-6 weeks, the vacuum action of the device will boost collagen production which will fill in fine lines and create long lasting “plumped up” results. After one session your lips do remain red and fuller for around 4 hours but only an hour on first use. Don’t exceed the recommended number of pulses as it can cause bruising depending on how sensitive you are – take the instructions literally.
